Hornbeam Nesting Set

A set of three nesting bowls in hornbeam - the studio’s namesake timber. Hornbeam is the hardest native wood in Britain, and its pale, almost white colour and fine, even grain make for pieces of extraordinary refinement.

Each bowl is turned to uniform 4mm wall thickness, thin enough to feel lightweight despite the density of the timber. The set nests precisely, with each rim sitting flush against the bowl below.
